Multiple people injured after two taxis collide on the R55 on the corner of Pierre van Ryneveld street in Laudium, Pretoria

Multiple people sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious after two taxis collided on the R55 on the corner of Pierre van Ryneveld street in Laudium, Pretoria this evening.
When ER24 arrived on the scene just after 19H00, they found that most of the patients from the taxis were walking around at the scene or lying on the ground. Upon further assessment, they found a young girl who had sustained serious injuries. The ER24 Oneplan helicopter airlifted the girl to hospital for further medical care.
Multiple others sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
ER24, as well as various other medical services on the scene, transported the patients to hospital for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics but local authorities were on the scene.
