Fidelity SecureFire crews responded alongside the local municipal fire service, emergency medical services and other emergency responders to a serious motor vehicle collision in Polokwane involving occupants trapped inside the vehicle.
Firefighters assisted with rescue operations to gain access to the entrapped victims while EMS personnel provided medical care on scene. Tragically, despite the efforts of all emergency responders, two people lost their lives as a result of the collision.
Local law enforcement remained on scene to investigate the incident while emergency crews ensured the area was safe before clearing the scene.
