Multiple injuries were reported following a collision between a minibus taxi and a light motor vehicle (LMV) on the R102 in the vicinity of Nyaninga – KZN this afternoon (Thursday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at approximately 17:42. On arrival, Reaction Officers found a white Toyota Quantum taxi and a grey Jeep SUV that had collided at the intersection.
The occupants of the Jeep, including three (3) children aged three (3), six (6) and ten (10), as well as their parents, sustained minor injuries. Eleven (11) occupants from the taxi suffered mild to moderate injuries and were transported to hospital for further medical treatment.
The exact cause of the collision is under investigation.
