The Limpopo Department of Transport and Community Safety informs motorists of a serious road accident on the R519 near Bergenet.
According to preliminary reports, two vehicles were involved in the collision. Four people have been confirmed deceased, while other occupants sustained injuries.
All relevant emergency services and law enforcement agencies are on the scene attending to the incident.
The road is currently closed to allow forensic investigators to conduct their work safely. Motorists should expect delays due to high traffic volumes.
