A motorcyclist sustained minor injuries after colliding with a VW Polo Vivo near Eastbury on Phoenix Highway in Phoenix – KZN today (Tuesday, 16/06/2026).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out at approximately 11:58 after the Operations Centre received reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a motor vehicle.
Upon arrival, Reaction Officers found a motorcycle and a white VW Polo Vivo involved in the collision.
According to the driver of the VW Polo Vivo, he had slowed down after noticing a taxi travelling ahead of him when the motorcycle collided with the rear of his vehicle, causing damage to the rear bumper.
The 23-year-old delivery biker sustained minor injuries to his leg and back.
