Just after 07:15 am this morning, ALS Paramedics responded to a serious single-vehicle crash on Edwin Swales Drive near the BP Garage in the Bluff, South of Durban.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find carnage as they found that a single vehicle had somehow lost control and collided with a Tree. Paramedics found the driver, a male believed to be in his fifties, had been removed from the vehicle by bystanders. Paramedics assessed the man; however, he showed no signs of life and was declared deceased on the scene. There were no other persons injured.
At this stage, the events leading up to the crash are unknown; however, SAPS were in attendance and will be investigating further….
