A joint operation by Limpopo provincial Traffic Officers in the Waterberg District and Lephalale Municipality traffic officials on July 16, 2025, resulted in the impoundment of 16 taxis at the Medupi/Marapong junction for non-compliance. While commuters were affected, the operation aimed to promote road safety and adherence to regulations.
During the operation, a total of 220 vehicles were checked, and 22 summons were issued for various defects.
