Five people were left injured this morning when a bakkie crashed into the side of a taxi on Albertina Sisulu Road in Roodepoort.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 06h06 to find both vehicles parked in the middle of the road. Several people were found walking around on the scene.
Medics assessed the patients and found that four people had sustained moderate injuries while a fifth patient had sustained serious injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and the seriously injured provided with pain-relief medication before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations….
