Seven people were left injured this morning when a taxi and light motor vehicle at the Beaconsfield and Botha Road intersection in Vereeniging.
ER24 medics arrived on the scene at 07h40 to find the light motor vehicle in the road while the taxi had come to a stop on the side of the road.
Medics assessed the patients, which were found on the side of the road, and found that seven people had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
