Taxi and SUV collide leaving six injured in Rosebank

Six people were left injured this morning when a taxi and SUV collided on Jan Smuts Drive in Rosebank, Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics, along with Provincial and another Service, arrived on the scene at 07h57 to find the two vehicles in the road. The passengers from the taxi were found walking around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that five had sustained minor to moderate injuries while a sixth patient had sustained serious injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries, and provided the seriously injured patient with pain-relief medication, before they were transported by various services to nearby hospitals.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
