44 Taxis were impounded on Friday morning during a joint operation in the moot area, North of Pretoria. All The impounded Taxis did not have driving permits.
This is a continued Taxi operation that began in August 2018 of which more than 200 Taxis were impounded for infringement of traffic laws and mostly with no required documents.
To date 296 Taxis were impounded. Operation was also conducted in Menlyn, east of Pretoria. The Taxi operations will be done throughout Tshwane.
