Helicopter Airlifts critically injured patient from double taxi crash

KwaZulu-Natal: At 09H30 Saturday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious collision on the D995, Izwelisha in the Adam's Mission area, Durban South.
Reports from the scene indicate that multiple people sustained varying degrees of injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
The patients are treated on scene by Advanced life support paramedics and will be transported to hospital by members of various ambulance services.
The Red Cross Air Mercy Services helicopter has been called to the scene to airlift the critically injured patient.
The Ethekwini Fire and Rescue Services as well as the SAPS were on scene to investigate.
