Taxi and bakkie collide leaving fourteen injured in Bloemfontein

Fourteen people were left injured this morning when a taxi and bakkie collided on the Dewetsdorp Road in Phase 6, Bloemfontein.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at approximately 07h00 to find the Provincial Services already in attendance, assessing the patients.
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found that two adults and twelve children, aged from ten and below, had sustained minor to moderate injuries. 
Assessments showed that the injuries sustained ranged from minor to moderate.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Pelonomi Provincial and Mediclinic Bloemfontein for further treatment.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
