Kenya: President Ruto Leads the Nation in Farewell to General Ogolla, Burial Honors Accordance With His Wishes

Nairobi — President William Ruto, the Commander-In-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces, will lead the nation in bidding farewell to military chief General Francis Ogolla.

General Ogolla died in a helicopter crash on Thursday last week in Elgeyo Marakwet County alongside nine other officers.

According to a programme released by the Kenya Defence Forces, General Ogolla’s interment will strictly adhere to his wishes, with the burial conducted without a coffin.
