South Africa is a treasure trove of exciting MTB routes, discovered and waiting to be uncovered, with weather allowing for cycling at any time of the year, all day and just about every day.
Best of all. You can even record your own robbery to post on Facebook and YouTube if you are lucky enough to survive the ordeal. With the high crime rate in South Africa it should not be difficult to get the experience of a lifetime. There are some great single-track routes on the mountains and in the pine plantations to get robbed.
Malcolm Fox was able to make a recording on a GoPro camera while being robbed at gunpoint at Sir Lowry’s Pass in Somerset West, Western Cape, South Africa.
