Just over 1250 mountain biking enthusiast braved the cold, wet Cape Town weather on Friday, 01 November 2013 to partake in Stage One of the much anticipated FNB Wines2Whales (W2W) Mountain Bike (MTB) Adventure. Ian Franken and Andrew McPherson of Team Pendale took top honors in the men’s event crossing the finish line in a time of 04hours26minuters35seconds.
