Sketchy Bongo set to command the stage at the Totalsports Women’s Race in Cape Town

Sketchy Bongo, one of SA’s most prominent music producers and DJs, will join in on the Women’s Day celebrations in Cape Town on Wednesday, 09 August 2017 (National Women’s Day) where he will perform for thousands of runners and walkers (consisting of mothers, sisters, daughters and aunts) at the annual Totalsports Women’s Race.

According to Sketchy Bongo, he enjoys creating music that makes people happy.  “Performing at the Totalsports Women’s Race is going to be great,” says Sketchy Bongo.  “I exude a lot of energy on stage and expect to get the same energy back from the crowd. I’ll also be performing with female vocalist, Kaien Cruz, who sings on my latest single ‘Love Me In The Dark’.  She is great.  I’m sure the crowd will love her.”

“Any initiative that’s for the betterment of women and supports the fight against cancer is amazing,” continues Sketchy Bongo.  “Women give us all life, and they need to be respected as such. I support any movement that’s for the equality, power, beauty and uplifting of women.  I will be performing all my hits and some new ones.  Kaien Cruz will also sing some of her songs.  We’ll definitely perform our hit single ‘Love Me In The Dark’.”
