Stillwater Sports, one of South Africa’s leading Sports Marketing Agencies, is proud to welcome Mango Airlines, South Africa’s first true Low Cost Carrier, as the official airline partner of the Totalsports Women’s Race.

A popular women’s day celebration, the Totalsports Women’s Race encourages entrants from three major cities (Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town) to #RunForLife in support of PinkDrive.

Event Information2017 Totalsports Women’s Race

The action of the 2017 Totalsports Women’s Race got underway in Durban on Sunday, 16 July 2017.  South African middle- and long-distance runner, Mapaseka Makhanya was unstoppable in the 10km race claiming gold in a lightning fast time of 34:30.   Lebogang Phalula came in second, with Loveness Madziva rounding off the podium.

Prize PurseThe 2017 Totalsports Women’s Race boasts an impressive combined prize purse of R123 600 for Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Charity SupportThe Totalsports Women’s Race proudly supports PinkDrive, a Non-Profit Company (NPC) that is committed to improving breast cancer awareness, education, and providing and offering free services to the medically uninsured across South Africa.  PinkDrive will be present at the Totalsports Women’s Race offering FREE clinical breast examinations and educating on the importance of self- breast examinations.  Visit PinkDrive’s “Shop4Cancer”, show support and “Run For Life”.

Live EntertainmentAfter completing either the 5km or 10km Totalsports Women’s Race runners and walkers in Johannesburg can look forward to a lively performance from South African hip hop record producer and musician, Anatii.  Capetonians will be treated to a spectacular performance by one of SA’s most prominent music producers and DJs, Sketchy Bongo.
