Entries are open for the exciting Beet It Sport #BeetYourBest Trail Run Challenge that will take place at the picturesque Blaauwklippen Wine Estate (Stellenbosch) on Saturday 25 September 2021 (#BeetYourBest Trail Run 1 / 8km)
and Saturday 23 October 2021 (#BeetYourBest Trail Run 2 / 12km).
“The Beet It Sport #BeetYourBest Trail Run Challenge consists of two fun trail runs, an 8km and a 12km that will take place in September and October respectively,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Founder of the event. “Celebrating 339 years of heritage in 2021, Blaauwklippen Wine Estate is an off-road athlete’s dream venue. Not only are there various route options to choose from, but runners are also guaranteed a good mix of climbing, descents, technical trails and smooth single track. Although both the #BeetYourBest Trail Run 1 and #BeetYourBest Trail Run 2 will take place at Blaauwklippen Wine Estate, the routes will differ and treat runners to a unique experience. The slight increase in distance from Trail Run 1 to Trail Run 2 is deliberate as the goal is to give trail runners the opportunity to ‘beet their personal best’.”
“It’s important to note that trail runners that enter the Challenge (both the #BeetYourBest Trail Run 1 and #BeetYourBest Trail Run 2) will receive a limited-edition Beet It Sport Event Performance T-shirt,” continues Meyer. “If a trail runner can only make it to one of the events, they can opt to only enter that event, but will unfortunately not qualify for the limited-edition T-shirt. They will, however, still receive a Beet It Sport Headscarf on arrival, a Beet It Sport Finisher Medal on completion of the Trail Run and a complimentary coffee. They will also still be eligible for lucky draw prizes. We invite all trail runners to ‘beet their best’ at the Beet It Sport #BeetYourBest Trail Run Challenge.”
