Adventure seekers can positively affect the lives of Cape Town’s stray and abandoned animals by choosing to make a donation towards the Cape of Good Hope SPCA when entering online for the IMPI Challenge #1 that will take place at Coetzenburg (Stellenbosch) on Saturday, 06 April 2019.

Established in 1872, the Cape of Good Hope SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) is the founding society of the SPCA movement in South Africa and is the oldest animal welfare organisation in the country. A registered non-profit organisation and Public Benefit Organisation, the society relies on the support of concerned individuals and corporates to continue operating.

“We are excited to be part of the IMPI Challenge,” says Natasha Johannes, Fundraising Officer Cape of Good Hope SPCA.  “The event gives us the opportunity to create awareness amongst a wider audience, while raising much needed funds.  The IMPI Challenge is challenging, but a lot of fun.  The Cape of Good Hope SPCA will enter a team of four into the IMPI Challenge #1 in April.  We can’t wait to be part of the action and experience the vibe.”

Exciting News:  Entrants that donate R100 or more when entering online will receive an exclusive SPCA branded reversible sports scarf.

In addition to donating towards the Cape of Good Hope SPCA when entering online, Capetonians can also show support in the following way:

  • Make a once off or regular donation (via debit order or EFT)
  • Adopt
  • Shop at the Cape of Good Hope SPCA’s Vet Shops and/or Charity Store
