Tim Sherwood is set to be appointed as West Bromwich Albion’s new Head Coach within the next 48 hours.
The former Spurs coach has been the odds-on favourite for some days since meeting, and impressing, the Albion board.
No one has yet been offered the job but the interview process is now complete and Albion are confident of naming their man
Sherwood, 45, replaced Andre Villas-Boas at White Hart Lane in December and took Tottenham hotspur to sixth in the Premier League before his five month reign was brought to an end by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy.
His final game in charge was the 3-0 victory over Aston Villa on the final day of the season and he claimed afterwards that he would have earned a top-four spot had he been in charge for the whole season.
Sherwood took over with Spurs five points shy of the Champions League qualifying spots and they ended the campaign 10 points adrift of fourth-placed Arsenal…
