Stillwater Sports, the organizers of Stellenbosch’s iconic Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience are inviting adventure seekers to a fun Warm Up Ride at Somerbosch Wines on Saturday 05 November 2022 in the build up to SA’s ‘MTB Party of the Year’ that will take place at the end of November (19 and 20).
“We’re excited to welcome event entrants to our final Warm Up Ride before event weekend,” says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Founder of the event. “Riders can look forward to a fun-filled morning on the trails with like-minded individuals. Somerbosch Wines is an ideal venue for outdoor enthusiasts. There are various marked routes to choose from with distances ranging from 15km to 30km.”
“Warm Up Ride guests can choose the route that they’d like to ride, but first they’ll join us for a light breakfast to help boost energy levels,” continues Meyer. “To add to the excitement, riders will also receive their official 2022 First Ascent Rider Jersey on the day. Once done, riders can look forward to enjoying an ice-cold Savanna Cider as the cherry on the cake after a fantastic morning on the trails.”

DRESS UP COMPETITION: Stage Two of the Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience (Sunday 20 November) will be Dress Up Day. The two best dressed riders (x1 male and x1 female) will receive R10 000 in cash as well as ten cases of Savanna (each).
