The streets of Jozi will come alive with excitement on Friday, 09 August 2019 when thousands of women unite at the Totalsports Women’s Race in support of PinkDrive, proving that they are #StrongerTogether.
“The Totalsports Women’s Race Johannesburg route is reasonably fast and flat,” says Agne du Plessis, Stillwater Sports: General Manager Road Running. “Both the 5km and 10km races will start and finish at the same place. Enjoy the route, take in the vibe and be sure to look out for Joburg’s iconic landmarks which will include the Oriental Plaza, the Constitutional Court of South Africa, the Johannesburg Theatre and the Nelson Mandela Bridge to mention just a few. Runners and walkers will be treated to a memorable Women’s Day celebration in the city that they love.”
For the first time since the events inception in 2001, South Africa’s largest Women’s Day Celebration, the Totalsports Women’s Race will be hosted on one day (Friday, 09 August 2019 / National Women’s Day) across three major cities (Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban).

Each entrant will receive a fitted Event T-shirt, a Totalsports Head Scarf and a finisher’s bracelet while being treated to an entertaining route experience with refreshment points.
Charity Support: The Totalsports Women’s Race proudly supports PinkDrive, a Non-Profit Company (NPC) that is committed to improving breast cancer awareness, education, and providing and offering free services to the medically uninsured across South Africa. PinkDrive will be present at the Totalsports Women’s Race (Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town) offering FREE clinical breast examinations and educating on the importance of self- breast examinations.
