A group of 25 Lions players have been named from which the 23 will be selected for Saturday’s match in their Super Rugby quarter-final against the Crusaders at Ellis Park.
Warren Whitley will undergo a fitness test on Thursday before the final call will be made on his availability.
There will be a curtain raiser at 1.30pm on Saturday when the President’s League final takes place between Jabulani and Southern Knights. The match against the Crusaders kicks off at 4.30pm. Gates open at 1pm.
