Sierra Leone: Minor Discharged On Allege Sexual Penetration

Justice Momoh Jah Steven has discharged a minor, Alie Humper Bendu (not his real name) a juvenile, who was alleged to have sexually penetrated a child below the age of eighteen years to wit 14 years.

The juvenile was in court on one count of sexual penetration contrary to Section 19 of the Sexual Offences Act of 2012, as repealed and replaced by Section 4 of the Sexual Offenses (Amendment) Act 2019 Act No. of 2019.
