Chinese ambassador to Kenya Liu Xianfa has led the Chinese National Day Reception in Nairobi, marking the 68th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China. Nearly 400 guests from all walks of life attended the reception. In his speech Liu Xianfa recognised the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two nations. The Speaker of the National Assembly in Kenya, Justin Muturi, highlighted the critical role China has played as a development partner.
