Ecuador's Forces Detained Over 1,750 People Since January 9 Amid Unrest

MEXICO CITY (Sputnik) – The Ecuadorian police and army have detained more than 1,750 people from January 9-16, including 158 suspected of terrorism, amid a wave of gang violence that swept the South American country last week, the office of Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa said Tuesday.
