Canvas Collective Africa has launched with an immersive luxury field glamping experience, created for the discerning glamper who appreciates ultimate luxury, excellent cuisine in beautiful country locations. Moving throughout the year to some of the Western Cape\u2019s most beautiful areas.<\/p>\n

Founders Samara Stern and Dez Lundy, who both have extensive experience in events and travel, say their offering is ideal for those who like to getaway and feel pampered.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur launch locations in the Overberg, the Cederberg and the Swartland have been carefully picked to ensure the perfect weekend getaway – dream escapes in tranquil environments away from the hustle and bustle of city life,\u201d says Co-founder Samara Stern.<\/p>\n

Canvas Collective Africa takes luxury to the next level with ambient accommodation, offering ten gorgeous canvas tents that are stylishly furnished with all the mod cons and state of the art amenities that create an intimate mobile campsite feel.<\/p>\n

The tents sleep two, and include ensuite bathrooms with hot and cold running water, rain showers and fancy flushing toilets. The bedroom area is equipped with a top quality king size bed complete with exquisite linen and cosy warm blankets. The living area is roomy with handcrafted contemporary furniture, luxurious rugs, and freestanding lamps. Other creature comforts include mini bars, Nespresso machines and butler service. Outside, guests can observe the beautiful views from outdoor loungers and deep cushions.<\/p>\n

The Field Kitchen fine-dining restaurant is at the centre of the camp inside a mobile glass, steel and canvas cabin that has floor to ceiling glass walls that showcase the spectacular views across mesmerising landscapes. Stern says that guests can expect only the best flavour-laden delicious dishes paired with local estate wines and spirits.<\/p>\n

Luxury field glamping experience<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\u201cOur goal is to provide the perfect staycation for glampers who relish camping but prefer not to be parted from their creature comforts,\u201d she adds. \u201cIt\u2019s like a bonsai hotel experience complete with continental breakfasts in bed and artisan coffee or mimosa cocktails. Enjoy after dark campfire stories with potstill brandies in hand before heading to a cosy bed and discovering in-tent midnight snacks.\u201d<\/p>\n

The calendar begins from May 2022 in the extraordinary Overberg region at Botrivier from now until June 30th<\/sup> 2022. The Botrivier camp is surrounded by mountains, historical wine farms, wheat fields, wetlands and a tranquil pond.<\/p>\n

Camp two will be at Biedouw in the Cederberg from mid-July to 30th<\/sup> September 2022. Just over two hours\u2019 drive from Cape Town, The Biedouw Valley is a closer alternative to marvel the stunning spring flowers, with options for travellers to also enjoy some hiking and rock climbing.<\/p>\n

Camp three will be in Witzenberg near Tulbagh in the Swartland and will be set up from mid-October to 15th<\/sup> December; with the lush hills and epic mountain views it is great for those seeking a tranquil country escape. It\u2019s also great for nature enthusiasts, adrenalin junkies and wine lovers.<\/p>\n

The Canvas Collective Africa experience is now open for bookings. The entire experience is priced at R6,500 per tent per night that accommodates two adults. (Children over the age of eight are also welcome) The rate includes accommodation, breakfast in bed, a delicious lunch picnic hamper, high tea in the veld, dinner and midnight snacks to enjoy under the stars. All non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (except international wines and spirits) are also included.<\/p>\n

Guests must be 18 or older and no pets are permitted as the camps will be erected in nature reserves and farmlands.<\/p>\n
