National\u00a0Archives Garden<\/b>

It\u2019s no secret that Paris has some\u00a0exceptionally beautiful gardens \u2013 and the National Archives Garden is one of\u00a0the most spectacular in the\u00a0city. Situated just a few blocks away from the\u00a0Notre Dame cathedral, this garden is the perfect destination to enjoy a\u00a0romantic stroll. The\u00a0garden was built as a gift for one of Louis XIV\u2019s\u00a0mistresses, Anne de Rohan-Chabot, in the early 1700s and continues to be a\u00a0romantic\u00a0setting for couples visiting. The garden was officially opened in 2001\u00a0and were once the private gardens of the various private mansions that\u00a0make up\u00a0this city block. Surrounded by pergolas, flowers and benches, this is the\u00a0ultimate destination for lovers.

The\u00a0Backstreets Of Montmartre<\/b>

The Montmartre hill, where the popular Sacr\u00e9 Coeur Basilica sits,\u00a0is already a hit with couples. Many flock to the\u00a0garden on top of the hill to\u00a0get an incredible view of the city but often overlook the backstreets of the\u00a0area. The\u00a0charming neighbourhood has so much more to offer couples looking for\u00a0something a little different. The \u00cele\u00a0Saint Louis Island<\/b>

With so much to do and see in the city of\u00a0love, the \u00cele Saint Louis island in the middle of the Seine River is often\u00a0overlooked. The romantic\u00a0hotspot is one of two natural islands on the Seine and\u00a0is rich in history. While most tourists flock to the larger of the two islands,\u00a0the \u00cele de la\u00a0Cit\u00e9, which is home to the world-famous Notre Dame cathedral,\u00a0lovers find themselves taking advantage of the smaller, quieter island. The \u00cele\u00a0Saint Louis island houses the grand Gothic Sainte-Chapelle – the site of the\u00a0prison where Marie Antoinette was held before her execution.\u00a0Today, it plays\u00a0host to many traditional eateries and small boutiques making it the perfect spot\u00a0to celebrate love.

La Rue Du\u00a0Chat-qui-P\u00eache<\/b>

Paris is filled with several quaint\u00a0sidestreets \u2013 and La rue du Chat-qui-P\u00eache is famous for being the narrowest of\u00a0them all. The street dates\u00a0back to the 1540s and was constructed as a shortcut\u00a0for locals to get to the Seine. The quirky street, named \u2018The street of the\u00a0fishing cat\u2019, is\u00a0filled with eclectic street art, making it the perfect stop\u00a0for couples wanting to take in the romance of the city.

The Albert\u00a0Kahn Garden<\/b>

If you\u2019re looking for a unique picnic spot in\u00a0the City of Love, look no further than the dreamy Albert Kahn Garden. As the\u00a0name suggests, the\u00a0garden was developed by Albert Kahn, a prominent banker who\u00a0purchased the land in 1893. The garden covers four hectares and includes a\u00a0range of styles including an ‘English garden’, a ‘French-style garden’, and\u00a0most famously a ‘Japanese garden’. The latter features a\u00a0remarkable \u2018Japanese\u00a0village’ created from buildings dismantled and reassembled after a visit to\u00a0Japan. Newly renovated, this garden is the\u00a0perfect setting to enjoy some\u00a0one-on-one quality time with your loved one.
