Under the adjusted regulations, restaurants are prohibited from on-site sales, however, sales for off-site consumption of food and non-alcoholic beverages are still permitted. Ugu South Coast Tourism (USCT) is encouraging residents to continue supporting local eateries through takeaways during this challenging time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe introduction of adjusted Alert Level 4 regulations is a necessary measure to save lives, and to minimise the detrimental impact to our many tourism businesses, we\u2019re reaching out to KZN South Coast residents and visitors to support our local eateries wherever possible,\u201d said CEO of Ugu South Coast Tourism, Phelisa Mangcu.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis has been an incredibly difficult time for everyone, and will undoubtedly continue to be tough-going for some time yet, but we can all do something to help. By ordering food, you\u2019re playing a vital part in supporting our local tourism while enjoying the welcome flavours of your favourite eatery. We\u2019re also fortunate that, along the KZN South Coast, we have so many incredible natural, open-air spaces to enjoy takeaway meals, including beaches, nature reserves, parks and whale watching decks. You could catch sight of the migrating whales \u2013 or even the ongoing Sardine Run \u2013 while grabbing a bite to eat!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To make the process of finding the right menu for the mood that much easier, USCT has compiled a list of local eateries that will be operational during adjusted Alert Level 4.
