His love of reptiles started when he got a pet brown house snake for his 6th birthday and, having attended a venomous snake-handling course by Arno Naude, he\u2019s worked with venomous species ever since. In addition to his day job of caring for the reptiles, as well as doing talks and feedings, he\u2019s studying towards his advanced diploma in nature conservation. Wade, who also enjoys travelling southern Africa in search of new species and adventures, said: \u201cEach day working at Crocworld presents something new, and I love being able to work with reptiles every day.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; color: black;\">During lockdown, Crocworld fans can catch Wade every Thursday at 11am livestreaming via the \u2018Crocworld Conservation Centre\u2019 Facebook page, with Crocworld\u2019s Bird Curator, Ryne Ferguson, livestreaming video every Tuesday at 11am. For those wanting a real-world experience, Crocworld is open and follows all Covid-19 protocols. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; margin-bottom: .0001pt; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; color: black;\">Visitors must wear masks, sanitise and follow family group social distancing regulations.
