Thanda Safari<\/span><\/h2>\n

If you are looking for <\/span>big five game reserve accommodation<\/span><\/a>, Thanda Safari is definitely the place to consider. It lets you explore the hidden beauties of Africa while enjoying some of the best accommodation this continent has to offer. The term <\/span>big five<\/span><\/i> was coined by big game hunters and it refers to the most dangerous animals to hunt in Africa, such as the elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, and rhino.<\/span><\/p>\n

Naturally, if you decide to go on safari, those five are not the only species you will get to meet. Thanda Safari is located around 260 kilometres north of <\/span>Durban<\/span><\/a> and it covers 14,000 hectares. It has a deep commitment to the Zulu culture which will only further enhance the whole experience.<\/span><\/p>\n

How About Komodo?<\/span><\/h2>\n

If mammals aren\u2019t your thing and you would rather watch reptiles, consider Indonesia for your next destination. This country is home to <\/span>Komodo National Park<\/span><\/a> where you can watch these giant lizards bask in the sun. Although Komodo dragons are slow and not aggressive, make sure you don\u2019t get too close as their bite is venomous to a certain degree.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking of Komodo dragons, you can also take a short side trip and visit the <\/span>Pink Beach <\/span><\/a>on Komodo Island while you\u2019re in Indonesia. It is one of the seven pink beaches in the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

Drink Tea with Santa<\/span><\/h2>\n

No, you won\u2019t actually be able to share a cup of tea with Santa Claus, but you can visit the North Pole and <\/span>Santa\u2019s House<\/span><\/a> which, to no one\u2019s surprise, is an excellent place to shop for Christmas gifts. Apart from Santa\u2019s House, you can enjoy the view of the Arctic Sea from a helicopter or a hot air balloon.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, most of the exploring is done while sailing on powerful icebreakers. While whale sightings are somewhat common on North Pole expeditions, you may even catch a glimpse of polar bears in their natural habitat if you are lucky enough.<\/span><\/p>\n

Conquer Mount Everest<\/span><\/h2>\n

For a lot of people, one of the most tempting travel destinations is <\/span>Mount Everest<\/span><\/a>. While many people think about visiting and reaching its highest peak, make no mistake that the journey is not for everyone. However, if you are healthy, in great shape, and you actually do decide to climb to the top, you will have an opportunity to say that you\u2019ve visited one of the places only a handful of people have been to.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even if you don\u2019t plan on reaching the top, there\u2019s a lot to do on Mount Everest. You can try skiing, mountain climbing, riding horse sleighs, and even hiking. Great Barrier Reef<\/span><\/h2>\n

If cold weather and climbing isn\u2019t your thing, perhaps you would like to try the opposite. The <\/span>Great Barrier Reef<\/span><\/a> is one of the seven wonders of the natural world, and it spans over 2,600 kilometres of astonishing coral formations of different shapes and colours. Did you know that the reef is so large it can actually be seen from outer space?<\/span><\/p>\n

Great Barrier Reef is located in the Coral Sea, just off the coast of Queensland, Australia, and it features a rich marine life, which makes it one of the hotspots for those looking to snorkel or scuba dive.<\/span><\/p>\n

One Ring to Rule Them All<\/span><\/h2>\n

Hobbiton is an excellent example of what happens when Tolkien\u2019s fiction comes to life. This small place, if you excuse the pun, is located in New Zealand and it was created and used as a movie set for the <\/span>Lord of the Rings<\/span><\/a> trilogy. However, after the filming of the movies finished, the movie set was never dismantled, as is the case with many sets. Instead, <\/span>Hobbiton<\/span><\/a> came to life and became a fantastic tourist attraction.<\/span><\/p>\n

The tour is extremely popular so you should book your tickets in advance. Some of the highlights of the tour include visiting Bilbo\u2019s home, the Party Tree, and the Bagshot Row. There are 44 hobbit homes in total, and you can even enter and explore some of them for yourself.
