It has also added over 5,000 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/hotels.ng\/places\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">places of interest in Nigeria<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to its site, it has <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/techpoint.ng\/2016\/08\/18\/spark-hotelsng-invest-ogavenue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">acquired a stake<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in event booking website, OgaVenue, and importantly &#8211; became profitable in 2017. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, the company intends on exporting its cost effective business model and operational efficiency in marketing, customer support and finance in Nigeria to win in Africa on both hotel bookings and flights by launching Hotel.africa and Fly.africa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hotel.africa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hotel.africa<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is the company&#8217;s Africa focused brand which has over 25,000 properties listed across many cities in Africa. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/fly.africa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fly.africa<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is focused on flights within and outside the continent.
