If it is a legitimate officer he will follow you. But if you speed off and try to outrun them, they will shoot you\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n This is the reaction from SAPS spokesman Colonel Jay Naicker:<\/p>\n \u201c\u2026if people felt uncertain about stopping they were welcome to drive to their nearest police station.\u201d<\/p>\n Looking at the advice given I would opt for not visiting South Africa. At what stage do they decide you are trying to outrun them and start shooting?<\/p>\n If you do make it to the nearest police station you might just be assaulted and thrown in jail without a proper charge.<\/p>\n SA cops kick and hit Afrikaners over driver\u2019s license<\/a><\/p>\n According to SAPS spokesman Colonel Jay Naicker involvement of police officers in criminal activities does not happen a lot.
