These four holy shrines Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath also known as Chota Chardham of Himalaya. As per myth it is said that devotees who visit these four Chardham attain Moksha , and thus get liberation from the cycle of birth and death. Traditionally this sacred Yatra begins with Yamunotri and then Gangotri, followed by Kedarnath and Badrinath by Sequence.
