The KZN South Coast has so much going on this Easter holiday with animal lovers in for a real treat! Crocworld Conservation Centre in Scottburgh has announced an engaging programme that will keep the whole family entertained. From Friday, 15 April through to Monday, 18 April, there will be talks and feedings featuring some of the centre’s most beloved characters.

“It’s great being able to welcome visitors back to Crocworld for the Easter holiday, and this one will be packed with fun and engaging talks throughout the long weekend,” said Crocworld Conservation Centre Manager, James Wittstock. “This is also a chance for visitors to meet the many residents of the centre, including our very own 121-year-old Nile crocodile, Henry!”

Some of the other interesting species to be met include the West African dwarf crocodiles, American alligators, Jackal buzzards, mute swans and variety of interesting snake species. The centre is also home to a delightful animal farm where the youngsters can interact with tortoises, goats, guinea pigs and a few ‘Easter’ bunnies!

The on-site Fish Eagle Café will be serving up its usual gourmet fare with patrons able to enjoy fantastic ocean views from the wraparound deck. For those who grab a bite on Sunday, there will be Easter Eggs handed out to the little ones to celebrate.
