Bezhoek Private Game Reserve hosts an array of wildlife. The reserve has over 290 bird species and many mammals that can be viewed. The reserve has been give irreplaceable bio-diversity status because of the over 100 grass species, cycad populations, red data flora, extensive river frontages, permanent wetlands and streams, riverine forestation, gorges, savannah plains, rocky outcrops, and majestic cliffs; that make up the reserve.

And many more free roaming species.
