Cape Country Routes, South Africa, a leading group of owner operated and managed accommodation and activity establishments, all carefully selected for their character, charm and romance and situated on the scenic and historic routes in the Western, Eastern and Northern Cape, has put together a captivating 12-day Cape Classic Tour package which starts in the heart of South Africa’s exceptionally beautiful and scenic Mother City and ends in its ‘wild’ province, the Eastern Cape.

From Cape Town – with its rich and diverse culture, cosmopolitan atmosphere, vibrant nightlife, extraordinary architecture, world-class beaches, superior vineyards and stunning landscapes; to Stellenbosch – the picturesque university town that is a blend of historical architecture, student life, epicurean delights and oak-lined avenues; to Montagu – the quaint town that serves as the ‘gateway’ to the Little Karoo, well-known for its heritage, natural hot springs, rugged terrain, majestic mountains, spectacular passes, vineyards, orchards and rivers; to Oudtshoorn – the charming Klein Karoo town known as the ostrich ‘capital of the world’; to Knysna – the heart of the Garden route with a variety of things to do and see – the Knysna forest, Knysna heads, Noetzie Beach, or Buffelsbaai; to Jeffrey’s Bay – affectionately known as J-Bay – home to some of the best surfing in South Africa. It is also popular for its aloe-studded landscape, sun-drenched beaches, dolphin spotting, and shell collecting. And then, to wrap up the Classic Cape Tour, the Eastern Cape, South Africa’s ‘wild’ province with its stretches of untouched beach, peaceful river estuaries, lush forests, mountain vistas, the arid Karoo landscape, wildlife reserves including the remarkable Addo Elephant National Park.
