This World Tourism Day (27 September 2024), TTC Tour Brands (Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Costsaver & Contiki) is reaffirming its commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism, empowering travellers to explore the world while protecting it.

This year’s World Tourism Day theme, “Tourism and Peace,” emphasises travel’s ability to build tolerance and foster understanding between nations. To help ensure this power of travel can be enjoyed by future generations, TTC Tour Brands will donate to two nature-based solution initiatives for every booking made this week. Donations will go to GreenWave’s Kelp Farming Project and Rainforest Rescue’s Daintree Project.

Initiative Details:

For every Luxury Gold, Insight Vacations, Trafalgar, Costsaver and Contiki booking made over the coming week (from 27 September to 4 October 2024), TTC Tour Brands will donate to two nature-based solutions projects: GreenWave’s Kelp Farming Project and Rainforest Rescue’s Daintree Project:

  • GreenWave’s Kelp Farming Project focuses on supporting regenerative ocean farms through sustainable practices that restore marine ecosystems, support economies and global food systems, and draw down carbon. Learn more about GreenWave here.
  • Rainforest Rescue’s Daintree Project is dedicated to protecting and restoring the Daintree Rainforest, one of the world’s oldest and most biodiverse rainforests, through reforestation and conservation efforts.
