Durban \u2013<\/em><\/strong> Set to take Durban by storm on Sunday, 08 October 2017 the inaugural FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN boasts an impressive prize purse of R212\u00a0000.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are proud to be able to offer a substantial prize purse in the maiden year of the FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports.\u00a0\u00a0 \u201cA mass participation 10km road run, the FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN will highlight the true beauty of Durban while granting entrants the unique opportunity to explore their city.\u00a0 The event will also attract an elite field that will target the World\u2019s Best 10km finishing time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPrize money will be awarded to the top ten men\u2019s and women\u2019s finishers in the open category with the overall winners each taking home R25\u00a0000,\u201d continues Meyer.\u00a0 \u201cPrize money has also been allocated to the top three finishers in the junior, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+ age group categories.\u00a0 We expect some impressive finishing times on event day and can\u2019t wait to see whether the FNB Durban 10K CITYSURFRUN will be able to claim the title of \u2018fastest 10km in the world\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
