With 5km being the most popular distance globally, the event attracts a diverse range of participants, from seasoned athletes seeking to challenge their limits to newcomers venturing into the world of road running.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Boxer Super Run route in Tshwane was carefully crafted to deliver both fast times and thrilling competition,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports. \u201cWhile predominantly flat and built for speed, the Tshwane route includes a few strategic twists and turns to keep runners on their toes. Participants will also have the unique experience of passing the iconic Olympic-size swimming pool where Olympic Gold and Silver medalist Tatjana Smith (n\u00e9e Schoenmaker) trained for the recent Paris Olympics. With the R147 200.00 prize purse (for Open and Elite Wave runners only) and the potential for lightning-fast times, we expect the competition to be fierce.
