The Fund for Export Development in Africa (FEDA), the development impact investment arm of African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) (www.Afreximbank.com<\/a>), is pleased to announce a strategic investment in Team Drogba, competing in the inaugural E1 Series, the world\u2019s first-ever all-electric boat racing championship. This investment aligns with Afreximbank\u2019s Creative Africa Nexus (CANEX) strategy, which includes sports as a key vertical for advancing Africa\u2019s economic and cultural footprint.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Co-owned by African football icon, Didier Drogba and Lilium Capital Group, Team Drogba\u2019s participation in the E1 series will not only raise Africa\u2019s profile on the global sporting stage but also support the growth of Africa’s blue economy. The Team\u2019s participation in the competition will help highlight sustainability and marine ecosystem restoration and general environmental awareness.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
