The Boxer Super Run<\/strong> will take over the streets of Durban with waves of 5km fun on Sunday 13 October 2024. <\/strong>Entrants can choose the wave that best suits their running prowess.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe appeal of the Boxer Super Run lies in its accessibility and ability to accommodate a diverse range of participants, from elite runners to casual joggers and beginners,\u201d says Lee-Ann Pillay, Boxer Superstores Head of Department: Marketing<\/em><\/strong>. \u201cEnhancing the attraction of the 5km distance, the Boxer Super Run allows participants to choose their ideal starting wave based on their running experience. Runners can select either the Open Wave<\/u> or the Super Social Wave<\/u>. The 5km event will culminate with the thrilling Elite Men\u2019s Wave<\/u> and Elite Women\u2019s Wave<\/u>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cStarting at 07:00, the Open Wave <\/strong>caters to serious runners, but not elites,\u201d confirms Pillay. \u201cThis wave is ideal for club runners, schools, and anyone looking to challenge themselves and potentially improve their personal best. For those who prefer the social aspect of running, the Super Social Wave<\/strong> offers a later start (between 08:00 \u2013 09:30). In this wave, time is not a priority; instead, participants can enjoy a fun day out with family, friends, or co-workers. We encourage this wave to show off your flair for fashion by dressing up and bringing the vibe. Regardless of the wave that you choose, finish with a smile.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 2024 Boxer Super Run will culminate on a high note with the Elite Women\u2019s and Elite Men\u2019s Waves. This spectator highlight promises an exhilarating showdown, featuring South Africa’s top athletes competing for the prestigious titles of King and Queen at the Boxer Super Run.<\/p>\n
