The 7th annual Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K<\/strong> returns to the majestic city on Sunday, July 7, 2024, and entries are now officially open.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are thrilled to open entries for the 7th<\/sup> annual Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Series Founder<\/em><\/strong>. \u201cAlthough it\u2019s established itself as one of Durban\u2019s most iconic mass participation road runs that offers participants a unique way to explore the city on foot, the Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K has also become synonymous with world class performances. The flat and fast course is a major drawcard for elite runners, both local and international, while also providing social runners with an ideal setting to achieve personal best times.”<\/p>\n

Jabulile Nsibanyoni, Head of Sponsorships, Brand and Marketing at Absa<\/em><\/strong>, says, \u201cWe are thrilled to return to Durban for the Absa RUN YOUR CITY DURBAN 10K race. This event exemplifies the spirit of community engagement, where participants can make a meaningful impact simply by running or walking. As we lace up our shoes and hit the pavement, we\u2019re not just covering kilometres, but also creating positive change in the communities we call home through our R1 for 1km campaign. For each kilometre run or walked by a Team Absa member on Strava, the bank will donate R1. In 2023, we successfully raised R1 million, and we are aiming for an even higher fundraising target in 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n
