Runners and walkers are invited to actively embrace Valentine\u2019s Day by registering for the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series\u2019 second challenge, ‘The LOVE Run 5K’ Strava Challenge that is set to take place on Wednesday, 14 February 2024.<\/p>\n

“This challenge is the perfect opportunity for energetic couples, friends, and families to celebrate Valentine’s Day actively,” states Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Founder of the Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series<\/em><\/strong>. “These Strava Challenges serve as an excellent platform for runners to connect, encouraging a stronger, healthier, and highly active RUN YOUR CITY Series running community. In addition to being a fun way to stay active, it also provides perfect preparation for the upcoming 2024 Absa RUN YOUR CITY Series. Seize the opportunity, gather your significant other, family members, and friends, and transform this Valentine’s Day into an active and enjoyable experience by participating in ‘The LOVE Run 5K’ Challenge on Strava.”<\/p>\n

How to join Challenge #2 \/ <\/u>‘The LOVE Run 5K’ <\/u>Challenge<\/u>:<\/p>\n

Runners are to \u201cjoin\u201d the RUN YOUR CITY Series Running Club on Strava: https:\/\/www.strava.com\/clubs\/rycs<\/a><\/p>\n

If runners have not done so yet, they will need to create a Strava Account before they can join the club.<\/p>\n

Runners are to join ‘The LOVE Run 5K’ <\/strong>challenge on the RUN YOUR CITY Series Running Club by clicking on the orange \u201cI\u2019m in\u201d button displayed next to the Event listing.<\/p>\n

Runners must record their run using a smartphone (Android or iPhone device) or smart watch (Garmin).<\/p>\n

Runners must share their activities, pictures, and routes to the RUN YOUR CITY Series Strava Club page. All activities logged during the challenge period must be uploaded to Strava no later than 23:00 on Wednesday 14 February 2024.<\/p>\n

WIN BIG<\/u><\/strong>: The names of 5 lucky runners will go into a lucky draw to win an AWESOME pair of PUMA NITRO Running Shoes. Don\u2019t forget to share your activity to the RUN YOUR CITY Series Running Club on Strava within the stipulated time frame. The winner will be selected by random draw and announced on the RUN YOUR CITY Series Running Club page on Thursday 15 February 2024.<\/p>\n
