Steyn City is excited to announce that golf professional Dylan Naidoo is joining The Club at Steyn City as its first-ever Touring Professional Ambassador.<\/p>\n
Dylan has garnered attention from the global golfing community since a young age. In 2015, at just 16 years old, he became the youngest competitor ever in the Joburg Open. His performance marked the beginning of a remarkable ascent: a year later, he secured the second spot in the South African Amateur Rankings, becoming the first amateur to win a Big Easy Sunshine Tour Event. Additionally, he clinched victory at the All-Africa Junior Championship in Tunisia. In 2017, while competing in over 15 collegiate events at the University of Arkansas (where he also earned a place on the Dean\u2019s List), he finished the year ranked fifteenth in the nation. Dylan turned professional in 2019, obtaining a Korn Ferry Tour card and conditional status on the Mackenzie Tour before winning the SunBet Challenge in 2022. The 25-year-old has returned to South Africa to compete on the Sunshine Tour.<\/p>\n
Dylan\u2019s ambassadorship with Steyn City coincided with the commencement of the Joburg Open last month.
