The Totalsports Women\u2019s Race will boast an impressive, combined prize purse of R202 500,00 in 2023. Taking place in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban on National Women\u2019s Day (Wednesday, 09 August 2023), runners in each city will be able to compete for their share in the prize.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cWe are proud to add to the Women\u2019s Day celebrations by offering a combined prize purse of R202 500,00, at the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race in 2023,\u201d says Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports<\/em><\/strong>. \u201cThat equates to a R67 500,00 prize purse per city (Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban). Prize money has been allocated to the Top Ten finishers in the Open Category, with the Open Winner taking home R12\u00a0000,00, the second-place finisher R10\u00a0000,00 and the third-place finisher R8 000,00. Prize money has also been allocated to the top 3 finishers in the Junior, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+ categories.\u201d<\/p>\n

In closing Meyer adds: \u201cWe are proud to encourage excellence in women\u2019s running in South Africa, and what better platform to do so than at South Africa\u2019s largest Women\u2019s Day celebration, the Totalsports Women\u2019s Race.\u201d<\/p>\n
