Thousands of FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup 2023\u2122 <\/em>volunteers are needed across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand;\u00a0volunteers will have an integral part to play in making the tournament a huge success; apply today at <\/span>FIFA.com\/voluntee<\/span>rs<\/span>\u202f\u00a0(http:\/\/bit.ly\/3NB5bUz<\/a>).<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n FIFA has launched the Volunteer Programme for the FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023\u2122<\/span> today, with approximately 5,000 enthusiastic people needed to support the tournament.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n Volunteers will play an important role in welcoming the world to the FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup 2023<\/span>\u2122<\/span>, giving locals across the Host Cities the chance to share their knowledge and culture with participating teams and visitors.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n To celebrate the launch, several activities are taking place across various Host Cities in the coming weeks, with each recognising local football community volunteers, and encouraging people to sign up to be part of the tournament next year.<\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n Jane Fernandez, FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup 2023\u2122 COO (Australia) <\/span>said<\/span>: \u201cVolunteers are at the heart of the <\/span>f<\/span>ootball community in Australia and<\/span>\u202fAotearoa<\/span>\u202fNew Zealand<\/span>, w<\/span>ithout their\u202fdedication and commitment, major events like the FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup wouldn\u2019t be possible.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201c<\/span>The<\/span>\u202fVolunteer<\/span>\u202fProgramme is an opportunity for the community to get up close<\/span>\u202fto the action\u202f<\/span>and behind the scenes of the biggest<\/span>\u202fwomen\u2019s sporting event in the world.\u202fWe look forward to welcoming our volunteers to the team in 2023<\/span>,\u201d she said.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/p>\n Volunteers will be the public-facing team on the ground, representing the FIFA Women\u2019s World Cup with pride, enthusiasm and respect.
