First Ascent, one of South Africa\u2019s oldest and leading specialist outdoor brands, will treat mountain bikers to fantastic innovations and prizes at the 9th<\/sup> edition of the Savanna Origin of Trails MTB Experience that will take place at Coetzenburg Stellenbosch University on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 November 2022.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are committed to enhancing the experience of all entrants,\u201d says Riaan Oosthuizen, General Manager of First Ascent. \u201cThis year riders will not only receive an exclusive First Ascent Rider Jersey as part of their entry, but one lucky rider will also stand a chance to win a premium First Ascent cycling kit hamper valued at R3200. Forming part of a social media competition, the prize will include a men\u2019s or ladies Podium Cycling Bib and a men\u2019s or ladies Vent Long Sleeve Cycling Jersey, just in time to get kitted out for event weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTo add to the excitement, for the first time since the event\u2019s inception, when entering the event online riders can choose the tented Village Party Package,\u201d continues Oosthuizen. \u201cThis option includes accommodation in the Festival Village in an individual First Ascent tent, which is great. This option also includes complimentary drinks throughout the weekend, dinner on Friday and Saturday as well as a ticket to the fun-filled Pub Ride through Stellenbosch on the Saturday after the rugby. We are really excited to once again be part of SA\u2019s \u2018MTB Party of the Year\u2019. Amidst all the fun activities and activations, I am really looking forward to finishing the race.
