It\u2019s just under one month to go to the Fedhealth MTB Challenge that will take place at the picturesque Blaauwklippen Wine Estate in Stellenbosch on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September 2022 and mountain biking enthusiasts of all ages can look forward to experiencing the most iconic trails on offer in the majestic City of Oaks.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn Saturday junior MTB enthusiasts will be seen tackling a fun-filled 500m (0-5 years), 1.5km (6-9 years) or 5km (10 \u2013 13 years) event, while the 15km Fedhealth MTB Challenge (Fun Ride) <\/strong>is ideal for primary school children that enjoy a challenge, and mountain bikers that are looking to start their Saturday with a short ride,\u201d confirms Michael Meyer, Managing Director of Stillwater Sports and Founder of the event. \u201cSunday is set out for the more serious mountain bikers that are looking for a Challenge. The +-30km Fedhealth MTB Challenge (Half Marathon) <\/strong>will feature a total climb of 580m while the terrain will include good gradient climbs with beautiful\u00a0views. The views at Keermont are a definite route highlight. Iconic farms that will be traversed will include Stellekaya, Chaloner, Keermont, Vriesenhof and lots more.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe +- 60km Fedhealth MTB Challenge (Marathon) <\/strong>will feature a total climb of 1200m, while the terrain will include smooth open road climbs and lots of single track that will be technical but with very smooth descents,\u201d continues Meyer. \u201cIconic farms that will be traversed will include Blaauwklippen, Mont Marie, Ernie Els and Stellenrust to mention just a few.\u00a0 This event is ideal for fit weekend warriors.
